Chapel of Sts. Peter and Paul: the altar painting
The painting depicts St. Peter on the background of Golgotha leaning against a rock and despairing after his denial of the Master. At the bottom left, there is a rooster, a symbol of betrayal, and on the right there are keys, a symbol of the papal authority. The author of this composition from the 2nd quarter of the 17th century has remained undetermined until now.
